Chapter 5: Unsettling Reunions
Riku took a deep breath and let it out slowly, his aquamarine eyes scanning the large, steel set of gates in front of them. "Well, we're here. Let's go find DiZ," he told the king, before placing a hand on the heavy, iron bars and pulled them open. Riku and King Mickey walked through the gates, down the long, broken path cemented into the ground. Surrounding the mansion were green shrubs, massive, pine trees and very tall, uneven grass that looked as though it hadn't been cut in awhile. As they approached the entrance, a tall, familiar figure cloaked in red and black stood with his back facing them.
Riku instantly reconized the red bandages wrapped around the man's head and scowled. "Squall?" Rinoa's small voice broke the Commander from his thoughts and he glanced towards his young sorceress. She had a sympathetic expression plastered on her face, her lovely eyes full of worry, and for some reason it irritated him. Squall didn't need her sympathy. He didn't need her or anyone else feeling sorry for him. "Can we please talk about this? This isn't something that you can just blow off and run away from." Rinoa stared down into her lap as her hands fiddled with a zipper on her shorts. "I want to help you, Squall. I mean isn't that what couples do for each other? When they love someone, they want to help that person through whatever it is they're dealing with, right? So please," she murmured, placing her on Squall's wrist. "Please let me help. This isn't something you have to handle on your own."

No more battles to the death… no more lies about just who or what he was… nothing. Which was probably part of the man’s current problem.
It wasn’t that he absolutely needed something to happen, like it would’ve been for several people he had once known (including his student and his best friend). No, this man’s restlessness was caused by one thing, and one thing only.
He needed to regain his honor… the honor that he threw aside once he had decided to force his student to kill him. At the time, he had felt it was the only way, but once he had died he realized at just how… cowardly that action had been.
It wasn’t that he needed to die to regain his honor, he had discovered. When he saw his silver-haired friend succumbing completely to the madness that had whispered at the edg

“Have you really met ghosts?” asked Daryl skeptically.
Turning his head towards the boy, Sora nodded, “Of course! There was Zero...”
“Zero? What kind of name is that for a ghost?”
Smirking at the fond memories as he faced the front of the train once more, Sora replied, “The ghost of a dog.”
His face showing his curiosity, Daryl inquired, “Then whose dog was he?”
Before Sora could answer, however, a light reappeared where the bum had vanished into the snow. “Heeey! Are you two still there?” came the bum’s voice.
“Yeah, we’re still here!” Sora shouted back, waving his right arm.
As the light grew closer, the two boys noticed that it was moving rather oddly. A couple of seconds later, it was apparent as to why- the bum had somehow acquired a pair of skis and was trudging through the snow with them already attached
